Magda Gilpin is the Business Development Director of Green Gate Consulting, where she leads the search for new cooperation opportunities for international companies in the American and Middle Eastern markets. She has extensive expertise in project management and business development counseling.
Prior to joining GGC Magda spent over five years working in the Trade & Investment Section of the Polish Embassy in Washington, D.C. as a diplomat and trade promotion expert. During her work in the Embassy she acquired a wide range of knowledge on the dynamics of the American and Polish markets and assisted many companies in successfully expanding their international business activities. On behalf of the Polish Ministry of Economy, she managed the implementation of various promotional projects in cooperation with American Federal and State agencies.
Before coming to the Polish Embassy in Washington, D.C., Magda worked in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Warsaw, Poland where she specialized in Middle Eastern affairs. Magda’s area of expertise included issues related to political and security situations in the Middle Eastern region, including Iraq, Egypt and Libya. In addition, she served for a year in Iraq as an interpreter for the Polish army.
Magda has a Master’s Degree in Middle Eastern Studies from the Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland. She also graduated from the Diplomatic Academy in Warsaw, Poland. She speaks fluent English, Polish, Arabic and some French, Spanish and Russian.
