Agnieszka Christian, GGC’s Advisor, has fifteen years of experience in international business development, human resources, and project management in Africa, Asia, and Europe. Her expertise includes proposal development, international recruitment, training and capacity building, as well as conducting start-ups overseas for the United States Agency for International Development (USAID)-funded projects.
Her international work experience with Washington, DC based Chemonics International and ACDI/VOCA includes personnel in country project management and supervision in Afghanistan, Albania, Armenia, Bangladesh, Germany, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Philippines, Republic of Georgia, Russia, Rwanda, Tanzania, Turkmenistan, and Zambia.
Agnieszka has a thorough understanding of USAID and other donor organizations’ rules and regulations. She conducted USAID-billable start-ups for two projects: Zambia PROFIT+ ($24 million over 4 years) and Tanzania NAFAKA ($30 million over 5 years). She also led recruitment efforts for the Afghanistan Trade and Accession Facilitation Project (TAFA) in Afghanistan (total project value over $100 million over 5 years).
Agnieszka is currently employed with Development Alternatives Inc (DAI) as the Senior Recruitment Manager for the Asia and Pacific Region. She is responsible for overseeing recruitment efforts for proposals, as well as coordinating training and capacity building efforts, enforcing standards for quality control, and conducting business development/reconnaissance in the region.
Agnieszka holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Minnesota, College of Liberal Arts with a double major in International Relations and German, and a minor in Russian.
She speaks fluent Polish, English, Russian and German as well as conversational Spanish.
